The Oberoi Philae & Shehrazad, sister ships are built and operated to the exacting standards of Germanisher Lloyd.
Each offers 69 twin & triple cabins and two suites.

Cabins are carefully designed and well-appointed, complete with modern amenities to allow a spacious sitting room during the day and a comfortable twin bedded room at night.
Air conditioned accommodations, windows in each cabin, attached bathroom with purified water supply and up-to-date fire safety systems to ensure the utmost comfort and security of all passengers.

Elegant Dining
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served in the elegant Restaurant which offers a panoramic breathtaking view of the Nile Valley.
Featuring Continental & Oriental cuisine, the Restaurant provides a variety of delights for the discerning diner.
Before and after dinner, in the stylish Lounge relax with a cocktail and watch the palm trees, sand dunes and the hills beyond glide by.
After hours, relax on the open Deck under a canopy of stare. For the more adventurous, the rousing costume and disco parties provide the perfect end to an eventful day.

Between sightseeing, soak in the sun or take a refreshing dip in the pool. For the fitness conscious, various gymnastic equipment and games are available.
Guest services also include same day laundry, currency exchange, multilingual library and other audio visual equipment.

The Oberoi Shehrayar & Oberoi Shehrazad is two identical sister ships. Built in 1986 they were among the first of the new generation of deluxe Nile cruisers.

Both ships were recently totally rebuilt and upgraded to make all cabins larger so today each ship have the small and exclusive number of 9 standard cabins, 29 deluxe cabins and 2 suite cabins.

Main dining room got Nile View, serving Continental and Egyptian cuisine. Diet and vegetarian menu available on request.
The sundeck and the pool is a good place to both relax and enjoy the Nile landscape from. Billiard and Table Tennis are available on both ships.

The Lounge Bar serves cocktails, soft & alcoholic beverages.
Each standard cabin offer two twin beds while deluxe cabins offer twin or king bed. All cabins have air-conditioning, telephone, mini-bar, safe deposit box and television with satellite transmission.
While deluxe cabins are 23m², the two suites are 28m².

Good to know with Oberoi (as our chosen Pyramisa cruises) is that they have private docking area in Luxor & Aswan. Most cruise ships dock with many ships outside each other, so a private docking area is a big plus one may not think about before being "stuck in the middle".

From 2 until 12 years, 1/2 price of adult if sharing with Parents . Under 2 years - free.
20 Euro extra bed supplement.
