The hotel is located on “Dream Island”, a private island in the middle of the Nile River, Aswan. To the east of the hotel on the main shore are the Old and New Cataract Hotels. To the west is the Aga Khan’s tomb; to the south is Isis Island; and to the north lie Kitchener’s Island, Elephantine Island, and Aswan Oberoi Hotel. With its location on a private island, the hotel is peacefully secluded and yet remains conveniently located for visiting most of the tourist attractions in and around Aswan
A freestanding building accessed by private entrances and consisting of a ground floor and two floors with the following facilities:

A 24-hour private ferry service is provided from the Amun Jetty located on the main bank of the Nile in Aswan (opposite the Egypt Air Office) to Dream Island. The ferry service takes approximately 10 minutes. The Jetty is within easy reach of Aswan Airport and the railway station. Domestic flights to Aswan are run daily from Cairo and Luxor. Nile cruises are a popular means of travel taken by visitors from Luxor to Aswan.
Facilities
The hotel has fifty-six rooms, fifty of which are available for guest occupancy. The six rooms on the first floor of the original villa are occupied by the hotel staff. A bedroom block comprising of 50 rooms on the first to third floors provides guest accommodation and adjoins the original villa. The hotel has a bar and lounge which accommodates sixty persons, a main restaurant, a terrace area adjacent to the main reception, a pool bar, a heated outdoor pool, and a Turkish bath.
