10 Days / 9 Nights 4 Nights Cairo 2 Nights Seat Train 3 Nights Nile Cruise (Aswan & Luxor)
Day 1:
- Arrive at Cairo Airport: Meet, assist through passport control formalities, luggage identification & transfer to your hotel. - Check in at Hotel. - Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
Breakfast. Then drive to the three famous Pyramids of Giza, erected by Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, guarded by the mysterious Sphinx, which is a mythical statue with a body of a lion and a human head. The three Pyramids and the Sphinx are one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most important tourist site in Egypt. (Camel ride at the Pyramids can be arranged during the visit upon your request).
(Optional) Then full day tour to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, housing around 250,000 antique pieces. Covering the whole history of ancient Egypt, which extends over the past 5 thousand years, among these pieces the most magnificent treasures of the young King Tut Ankh Amon.
back to your hotel in Cairo. At the end of the day, we will transfer to the train station for your overnight Seat train to Aswan. Overnight Seat train.
Day 3:
Breakfast: can be individually requested on train for about 3 USD. Arrival Aswan, arrival, meets & assists by our local representatives and transfer to the Cruise. Boarding before lunch, Embarkation. Lunch on board. Visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple Shared by the Two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Edfu. Dinner on board. Disco party. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 4:
Breakfast on board. Visit The Temple of Horus in Edfu. Cross the lock. Sail to Luxor. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 5:
Breakfast on board. Cross to the West Bank to visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of The Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Afternoon free at leisure. (Optional) Hot Balloon: Should you want to make your stay in Luxor an unforgettable. Drifting peacefully over the Valley of King, Valley of the Queens and the Mountain on the Nobles. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation. (Optional) start your full day tour visit The East Bank (Luxor & Karnak Temple) Excursion to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great Proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak, which is a serious of temples built in different reigns. Starting by the Avenue of Sphinxes visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with it's 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatchepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. Transfer to the train station for your overnight Seat train to Aswan. Overnight Seat train.
Day 7:
Breakfast on the train. Arrival Cairo, meets & assists by our local representatives and transfer to the hotel. (Optional) Sound and light show at Pyramids area. Over night in Cairo.
Day 8:
Breakfast. Free day. (Optional) full day tour visit Greco-Roman Museum (Filled by collection, which covers the period from the 3rd Century BC to the 7th century AD Like Mummies, Hellenistic statues, bust of Roman Emperors, Tanagra figurines & early Christian antiquities). Follow by a visit to the Roman Theater (A theater with marble seats up to 800 spectators, Galleries, Section of mosaic flooring & a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas & baths). Then visit Pompay's Pillar, Followed by visit to the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa (Tombs on three levels, also contains The Triclinium where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead, a center with relieves of bearded serpents. Inside, there are 2nd Century AD statues of Sobec & Anubis wearing Roman Armor). Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9:
Breakfast. Free day. (Optional) Departure from hotel to start your full day tour visiting Sakkara, cemetery for Memphis, used continuously for 3,000 years. See the earliest monumental stone tractor in Egypt, a stepped pyramid built for King Zoser (c. 2650 BC). Then visiting the Old part of Cairo, as Egypt was one of the first countries to embrace Christianity. We visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Berbara. The hanging Church, and the Coptic Museum which has a large collection of Coptic arts and antiquities dating from 300-1000 B.C., We will also visit the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then followed by a visit to the Citadel (it comprises a number of important monuments which are; the Mosque of Soleiman Pasha, the Alabaster Mosque, Joeh's Walls, Mohamed Ali Pasha Palace & provides a panoramic view of Cairo from Moqattam Mountain). Overnight in Cairo.
Day 10:
Breakfast at the hotel our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
