Best Accessories for a Summer Holiday in Egypt
Going on a summer holiday can be a very exciting experience, and once you’ve booked your flights, accommodation and hired a car, you should take the time to consider what items you’re going to take on holiday with you. A holiday in Egypt isn’t just about what clothes you pack in your suitcase, but rather the accessories that you take with you, such as a camera, towels and toys, because these can really make or break a holiday.
Depending on where you’re travelling to in Egypt, and what activities you want to engage in once you’re on holiday, you may want to consider what you’re going to pack if you’re planning on heading down to the beach once you’ve arrived. If you’ve booked a beach holiday, you will need towels, sun cream, a swimming costume or trunks, depending on your preferences, and if you have kids you will need toys or activities to keep them occupied during your stay. Buckets and spades are lightweight, but very awkward to pack, especially if the space in your suitcase is limited. So think about purchasing items like this once you’re abroad, as they will be readily available at many beach resorts. More travel friendly toys include the beach ball, which can be inflated once you arrive at your destination, and then deflated to be packed in your suitcase for the flight home.
If you don’t like going to the beach, you’ll find that many of the items mentioned above will also be ideal for a generic summer holiday in Egypt, such as sun cream and towels. If you’re going to be on the move, then invest in a wide brimmed hat, or similar head way that will help keep the sun off your neck and shoulders. Remember to keep hydrated, as walking around in hot temperatures can take its toll on the body, and the last thing you want to do on holiday is become ill from dehydration or worse, sunstroke.
